Lat week, thirty five of our students had a fun 10-day learning experience in Bournemouth on the south coast of England. The ex-first and second years from various courses set off on a trip full of expectations. Lessons in the morning and activities in the afternoon, trips to Oxford, Winchester and London and a night-time marshmallow barbecue on the beach were just some of the delights of the week.
The death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II while there made the trip historic. The bells ringing throughout the country for the Proclamation of the new King and signing the Book of Condolence will never be forgotten.
